The meaning of healthy living means differently for each and every person. However, by and large, there are two things that most will agree on. You have to learn to eat good organic foods that nourish your body, and you need to have exercise in your day to day life consistently. These things sound simple but can be harder than most people think when they set off on a new plan for a better and healthy life. This is why it is sometimes smart to go ahead one step at a time until you have gotten where you want to be and are comfortable with your lifestyle habits and your health.

Keep your stress level in check to keep extra pounds in check. When your body feels stress it tends to hoard calories and fat to provide a defense mechanism. You might know that the stress you are experiencing is temporary, but your body may think that you're fighting off wild animals and that you must run. Work at reducing your stress to remain calm and assist your weight loss.
Water - Mayo Clinic states that we lose up to 11 cups of water a day through urine, sweat, bowel movements, etc. As a minimum that amount of fluids need to be replaced daily. To keep it simple, drink a cup of water every waking hour. All fluids count toward the total, so the orange juice, the milk, and the protein shakes can all count toward that one cup an hour goal. But alcohol and sodas do not count. In fact, put coffee on the do not count list. Lastly, during my last workout, I drink about a liter of water. I sweated up a storm. During workouts, drink as much as your body demands.
No. 7: Breathe Deeply. Research indicates that 80% of all stress can be reduced with correct breathing. Having oxygen in your body is a good thing. Remember to breathe properly and pause before reacting to situations that may prove to be challenging. Then laugh.
Crafting. Though creating a craft or art project will not necessarily work you into shape, a creative, crafty spring project is a fun way to work out a Fun healthy habits positive mindset and to generate an overall feeling of healthy wellness. Building a birdhouse, painting a picture for your guestroom and setting out a porch swing are all fun, do-it-yourself projects that will simply beautify your healthy life! Fun, creative projects like these connect relaxing spring activities to a sense of productivity, rewarding you with the feeling of accomplishment and improving your mental health.
A wonderful, older friend of mine, who has since died, gave the best advice I can think of for Healthy living advice living: Get on with it! She lived an active, productive and fulfilling life. And is still missed by many.
Find out your BMI (Body Mass Index), and make sure that you have realistic goals. If you are within the normal range, don't beat yourself up if you are not in the lower portion of the chart. Normal is a healthy weight. If you are over-weight, or under-weight, you may want to have a doctor check you out. Be sure that there aren't any medical conditions that caused your increase or decrease of weight. Jot your beginning stats so that you have a record of far you have come.
So these are the reasons why healthy eating involves including five a day in your diet. It is important to have a healthy diet as one arm of a healthy living campaign. The other arm is of course regular exercise. More about that can be found in my other articles.
